During our time, the country had overcome terrorism and moved towards promoting tourism, and Pakistan’s ranking in the “Global Terrorism Index” had improved by four places – but regime change put this whole process into reverse gear and now, unfortunately, we have again become the second worst country in the world in the Global Terrorism Index.”

Like internal affairs, Pakistan's foreign policy is also being run in the worst possible way - our border with Afghanistan is very long, and issues with them should be resolved through dialogue. Until our foreign policy regarding neighboring countries is independent and autonomous, peace cannot come to the country. Military operations are never the solution to problems, even major wars can only be resolved through dialogue and efforts for peace and stability.

The real job of the intelligence agencies is to protect the borders and prevent terrorism. If they continue to engage in political engineering and break the PTI, then who will protect the borders? Terrorism is flourishing in Balochistan and no political solution is being found to the problem there. Unless a government with public trust is brought in the entire country, including Balochistan, stability is not possible.

Governance is in a bad state across the country because everywhere is occupied by Form 47 people instead of real representatives of the people. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is the only province where there is a people's government and due to the representation of the people's aspirations, Pakhtunkhwa's performance is better than all the provinces. The annual performance report of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is excellent. Ali Amin Gandapur is doing a very good job as the Chief Minister.

Adiala Jail is currently above the law. Contrary to the jail manual, I am not being allowed to meet my own wife for 72 hours in 90 days, which is my fundamental and legal right. Despite court orders, I am not even allowed to talk to my children for two weeks. I have been allowed to talk only four times in the last four months - even my books are not being allowed to reach me. All this is a serious violation of basic human rights, the law and the jail manual.
